Founded on Experience

Founded by ASE Master Technician, automotive instructor, and lifelong educator Andrea Strommen, creator of WomenWhoWrench and the Ms. Fix It brand, WomenWhoWrench combines decades of hands-on industry experience with technical education to empower the next generation of skilled professionals.

Why WomenWhoWrench Exists

The automotive industry can feel intimidating—especially for women entering the field or anyone learning vehicle maintenance for the first time. WomenWhoWrench was created to remove those barriers by providing practical education, encouragement, and a welcoming community where questions are celebrated and confidence grows through hands-on learning.
